Edit your portfolio for the work you want

Choose a small set of projects that shows the photography you want to be hired for. Give each project context: the brief, your role and the type of assignment. Get permission to publish images and avoid sharing private client details.

Use concise image descriptions and review crops on a phone. A wide photograph may need a different focal point in a narrow presentation. Keep the main image readable without forcing every project into the same sequence.

Keep projects consistent and editable

Use CMS for repeated project records with a title, short description, image and category. Build compatible Page presentations so a new project follows the structure your audience expects.

Separate commercial assignments, portraits or events only when they need distinct information. A service Page can explain location, deliverables and how the shoot is planned without repeating every portfolio item.

Structure a project collection ↗

Start with a useful shoot brief

Ask an inquirer about the assignment, location, preferred dates, intended usage and contact details. Keep the first Form short enough to complete, and collect more detail after your initial response.

Submitting a Form does not book a shoot or establish image licensing terms. Confirm availability, deliverables and usage rights separately. Review any payment or booking requirements before choosing a plan.

Build an assignment inquiry ↗

Questions before you start

Should every photograph be on the homepage?

Select the work that supports the visitor's decision. Give larger projects their own context and keep the first screen focused.

Does an inquiry establish usage rights?

No. Confirm your licensing agreement and assignment terms separately from a Website Form.
