What DNS records do I need for a website builder?
The required DNS records depend on the provider and whether you connect a root or www host. Use the record type, name, and value shown in your Website settings rather than copying a generic example.

A provider may request A, AAAA, CNAME, or verification records, and the host can differ for a root domain and www. Generic examples cannot supply the correct target value.
At the registrar, remove only records that conflict with the new instructions. Return to the Website settings to confirm the connection and SSL status.
