Review Website Form submissions
Choose the Form, open a response, check its submitted values and source, and update the workflow status after review.
Follow the steps.
Use your own accurate details and check the result as you go. You can return to the relevant Website editor to make corrections.
Select the Form
Open Forms in the Website dashboard and choose the Form whose responses you want to review. The Submissions view is scoped to that selection.
Open the response
Read the submission summary, status, submitted time, source, and saved field values. Compare the answers with the Form that collected them.
Mark the review state
Use Mark Reviewed after the response has been checked. Continue the customer follow-up in the business process that owns it.
Remove spam carefully
Delete a response only when that is the intended action. Deletion removes the submission record and is different from marking it reviewed.
Illustrative exampleWhat a useful result looks like
- The result
- You can open each response and read the correct answers and submission time.
- What to check
- Check the selected Website and Form before reviewing or removing a response.
Adapt the example to your Website and review the result before moving to the next task.
Keep each response with the Form that collected it
The selected Form provides the context for its submissions. A Project inquiry and a contact request can collect different fields and require different follow-up, even when both contain an email address.
Use status to record review, not the final business result
The submission status shows its current review state in Forms. A reviewed submission does not by itself mean the customer received a reply, a quote was accepted, or another operational workflow finished.
- Check the source and submitted time.
- Read the full response before changing status.
- Use the appropriate App or process for the next transaction.
- Delete only the submission you intend to remove.
Before you continue
Forms stores and presents the response. Customer communication, payment, booking, and fulfillment remain with their owning workflows.
