Edit supported Theme settings.

Adjust the type, color, spacing, or other settings the Theme exposes, then compare the result on representative Pages.

Follow the steps.

Use your own accurate details and check the result as you go. You can return to the relevant Website editor to make corrections.

  1. Open the Theme draft

Confirm you are editing the intended Website Theme and note its current version or status.

  2. Change one supported setting

Adjust the setting that answers the visual problem in front of you, keeping the Page content constant.

  3. Review and save

Check representative Page patterns at desktop and mobile widths, then save the draft for review.

What a useful result looks like

The result
The Theme draft shows the selected setting across its intended content.
What to check
Check contrast, long text and inner Pages before saving and activating.

Adapt the example to your Website and review the result before moving to the next task.

Change the system, not every Page

Shared Theme settings should solve a repeated presentation need. Keep one-off content or layout changes with the owning Page.

Check long and short content

A type or spacing choice must remain readable when headings wrap, summaries grow, or an entry has no image.

Before you continue

A saved Theme draft does not make the changes live, and unsupported settings remain outside the Theme editor.

Make the next change with a clear result in mind.
